From Mar de Ons we offer departures to the Cíes Islands from the main departure ports: Vigo, Cangas, Baiona, Sanxenxo and Portonovo. On our website you can check the schedules and available ports. From Mar de Ons we offer departures to Ons Island from the main ports of departure, Vigo, Bueu, Sanxenxo, Portonovo, Combarro and Pontevedra. On the Xunta's website you can reserve up to a total of 10 places per request and you must indicate the details of each visitor who will access the island, specifying whether they will be campers, visitors or neighbors. You will need to register the names, surnames, ID numbers, sex and date of birth of each passenger.

This authorization is personal and totally non-transferable, as it has a control code, a QR, an authorization number, the date and the name and surname of the visitor.

Once you have obtained the authorization code on the Xunta's website, called pre-reservation, you will be provided with a provisional code valid for two hours. You will need this code to buy your boat ticket on our website for the day you want to visit the Cíes Islands or Ons Island. The only way to travel to the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia is by boat.

After purchasing the boarding ticket with us, you will receive in your mail the final authorization to disembark in the Cíes Islands on the date you have decided, as well as the confirmation of the purchase of the ticket with all the details of your trip.

Tambo Island

If you want to travel to both the Cíes Islands and the Island of Ons, you should consult beforehand at the Xunta's website occupancy per day, since both islands have a daily visitor limitation. How to get the authorisation for the Cíes Islands or the Island of Ons?
You must apply for it online, through the Xunta de Galicia's authorisation application page: autorizacionillasatlanticas.xunta.gal. On this page you will be shown the steps to follow and you will be able to obtain authorisation to visit for the days that you are required to do so. You will have to fill in the booking details, choosing the day, the details of the applicant and the visitors and confirm the application request.
How to obtain authorisation for Tambo Island?
To access and visit Tambo Island, you must have authorisation from the Council of Poio, by means of an application made through the municipal website. For the visit, in addition to the access authorisation, you must have a boat ticket from the port of Combarro, which we offer from Mar de Ons, as an authorised shipping company.
What is the limited capacity of these islands?
The capacity is 1,800 people per day for the Cíes Islands and 1,300 people per day for the Island of Ons.
What is the limited capacity of Tambo Island?
On the island of Tambo, regular visits are made in organised groups of 50 people with an accompanying guide, in four shifts per day. On dates other than the regular visits, access may be authorised for associations and groups that request it, organised in groups of 50 people, who must have an accompanying guide and civil liability insurance for the activity.
How will I receive the final authorisation?
After purchasing your boarding ticket with us, you will receive your final authorisation by post to disembark at the Cíes Islands or the Island of Ons on the date you have chosen, as well as confirmation of your ticket purchase with all the details of your trip.
