From Mar de Ons we offer departures to the Cíes Islands from the main departure ports: Vigo, Cangas, Baiona, Sanxenxo and Portonovo. On our website you can check the schedules and available ports. The trip takes one hour from Cangas (if you stop in Vigo), approximately 40 minutes from Vigo, 35 minutes from Baiona and about an hour from Sanxenxo and Portonovo.

From Mar de Ons we offer departures to Ons Island from the main ports of departure, Vigo, Bueu, Sanxenxo, Portonovo, Combarro and Pontevedra. The trip takes a little over an hour from Vigo or Pontevedra, approximately 50 minutes from Combarro and about 40 minutes from Sanxenxo, Portonovo or Bueu.

Authorization to visit Ons Island
If you want to travel to Isla de Ons you should consult the Xunta's website to check the daily occupancy rate, as the island is limited to daily visits. On this page you will be shown the steps to follow and you will be able to obtain the visit authorization for the mandatory days.
The use of this authorization ensures that the quota of 1,300 authorized people who can access Ons Island daily is met, which helps to maintain a balance in the visits to avoid damaging the ecosystem.

On the Xunta's website you can reserve up to a total of 10 places per request and you must indicate the details of each visitor who will access the island, specifying whether they will be campers, visitors or neighbors. You will need to register the names, surnames, ID numbers, sex and date of birth of each passenger.
This authorization is personal and totally non-transferable, as it has a control code, a QR, an authorization number, the date and the name and surname of the visitor.
Once you have obtained the authorization code on the Xunta's website, called pre-reservation, you will be provided with a provisional code valid for two hours. You will need this code to buy your boat ticket on our website for the day you want to visit the Cíes Islands or Ons Island. The only way to travel to the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia is by boat.
After purchasing the boarding ticket with us, you will receive in your mail the final authorization to disembark in the Cíes Islands on the date you have decided, as well as the confirmation of the purchase of the ticket with all the details of your trip.
Do not forget to keep this authorization until the day of your trip, as you will have to present it before boarding or upon arrival to the island. Also, we recommend that you come to our ticket offices 30 minutes before the boat departs to print your ticket for maritime transport, remember that it is necessary to print them at our ticket offices in order to be able to travel.

Tambo Island
If you want to travel to both the Cíes Islands and the Island of Ons, you should consult beforehand at the Xunta's website occupancy per day, since both islands have a daily visitor limitation. This regulation guarantees that the quota of 1,800 people authorized daily access to the Cíes Islands and 1,300 people authorized daily access to Ons Island is met. This authorization helps to maintain a balance in the visits to avoid damaging the ecosystem.
As for available dates, you can enjoy the regular maritime transport service at Easter and daily from May 15th to September 15th. Outside this period, in Mar de Ons we offer guided group excursions and we also sell tickets for individuals who want to know this protected natural area by the hand of our guides. Therefore, it is important that if you travel outside the regular service, check our website to see if there are trips available outside the summer season.
