» Rodeira Beach – Cangas

Located in the centre of Cangas, Rodeira Beach is the main beach in this town.
The long promenade borders the beach and allows you to enjoy a pleasant walk along the sandbank, one of the most beautiful beaches on the O Morrazo coastal section, with splendid panoramic views of the Bay of Vigo.

This magical beach with fine white sand also has multiple and varied services in summer such as lifeguards, civil protection, access for the disabled and wheeled vehicles, green and wooded areas with benches, showers, biblioplaya, cafeterias, kiosks, restaurants with terrace and large variety of sports activities.

Liméns Beach is located in the Liméns Cove, in the Bay of Vigo. From it you can see, on the other side of the bay the Samil Beach.

Liméns Beach has many services such as parking, public telephones, showers and restaurants. In addition, there are two campsites in the area and you can practice many nautical and sports activities, such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and canoeing or hiking trails, along an incomparable coastal path.

» Nerga Beach – Cangas

The famous Nerga Beach is located inside of the Cabo Home Natural Area.
It is surrounded by pine and eucalyptus forests, with various trails. The beach is of fine white sand and is 700 m long. In 2011 he obtained the Blue Flag.

It is a family beach, very suitable to go with children since it has moderate waves and offers magnificent views of the Cíes Islands. In winter it is very common to see people practicing surfing and bodyboarding in its waters.

The traditional Galician boats, gamelas, rest on Nerga Beach on the edge of town, which makes this beach have a magical atmosphere that evokes our deepest roots.

Barra Beach is one of the most captivating places in O Morrazo.
The quality of its waters and its 750 meters of fine white sand have made it a nudist paradise in the Rías Baixas and the best nudist beach in Galicia.

It is oriented to the south and protected from the open sea by Cabo Home and the Cíes Islands. Barra Beach is included in the Dunas de Barra and Costa da Soavela Protected Natural Area, also belonging to the Natura 2000 Network.

This beach is a haven of peace and tranquility, ideal to escape the madding crowd of the city. In it the sunsets are spectacular, especially outside the summer season, where the tranquility and vastness of the sea cause a feeling of calm and tranquility.

» Melide Beach – Cangas

Melide Beach is one of the wildest beaches in Cangas, located between Punta Fuxiño and Punta Robaleira, near Cabo Home.
With a length of 250 meters and an average width of 40 meters of fine white sand, it offers exceptional conditions for surfing.

It is flanked by three lighthouses and has impressive views of the estuary and the Cíes Islands. It is worth highlighting the sunset views from the Red Lighthouse, where you can enjoy the magic of the setting sun behind the Cíes Islands.

The quality of this magnificent beach is accredited by its Blue Flag and it has beach bar and kiosk services to cool off while enjoying this relaxing natural space.

Area Brava Beach is the widest beach in the Bay of Aldán, and it is an important place to admire flora and fauna.
It is a virgin beach, with dune fields, transparent waters and fine white sand.

Protected as a Natural Area, it holds the Blue Flag and has all kinds of services such as lifeguards, a Civil Protection post, drinking water, showers, a beach bar, a disco, a library, a restaurant, and telephones, among others.

The Area Brava Beach is a place with calm waters, which makes it suitable for diving without a bottle on the surface and for other sports activities such as sailing, windsurfing, canoeing or aerobics.

» Area Cova – Cangas beach

Area Cova Beach is an idyllic sandy area, awarded with the Blue Flag, located between Punta Sartaxéns and Punta Pedra Rubia, in the Bay of Aldán.
It is 250 meters long, calm waters and fine sand. In addition, it has a restaurant and camping service and offers pleasant views across the estuary.
Located in the Bay of Aldán, the Menduíña Beach has been awarded a Blue Flag and it is surrounded by rocks with interesting shapes caused by erosion and sedimentation.
It has a lifeguard service, a Civil Protection post, drinking water, showers, kiosks, restaurants, and library.

This beach also allows visitors to practice sports activities such as sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and aerobics, among others.

» Menduiña Beach – Cangas

» Samil Beach – Vigo

Situated in the outskirts of Vigo, Samil is the main beach in this city.
It has a Blue Flag, and it offers swimming pools for children, picnic areas, promenades, a model car racing circuit, tennis courts, skating rink… and all kinds of services.
Samil is, undoubtedly, one of the best-equipped urban beaches in Europe. It is advisable to go there out of season, because it is usually very crowded in summer, since many visitors choose it to spend the weekend.
It is the second most important sandy area in the city of Vigo.
On this beach you can see the Blue Flag waving and enjoy its crystal clear waters with little waves, fine white sand and excellent facilities.

Vao Beach has showers, disabled places and a beautiful natural dune system. At the end of the beach is the Mirambel estate, a park where an archaeological excavation uncovered an ancient roman villa. It is an ideal beach for practicing water sports such as windsurfing.
