The Arribada Celebration is also a great food celebration, offering a wide range of handmade and natural products of the highest quality and receiving numerous visitors every year.


Certainly, the traditional sweets that you cannot miss are the famous Ñocos de Pinzón, a sweet similar to the melindres (sweet cake) and with a bit of cinnamon flavour. Other traditional sweets which you can taste are the filloas (crepes), bicas (cakes), almendrados (almond pastries), rosquillas (ring-shaped pastries), cañitas rellenas de crema (custard-filled cannoli), jams, leche frita (fried custard powdered with sugar and cinnamon), bizcochos (sponge cake) or roscones (ring-shaped cake).

Unha semana na que diferentes establecementos de hostalaría da zona elaboran menús especiais cunha gastronomía tipicamente galega a base de receitas tradicionais e artesanais, cun prezo que vai dende os 15 e os 25 euros por persoa.
