Cies Camping – Galicia
The Cíes Islands Campsite offers the visitors a wide range of services which will make their stay an unforgettable experience. Campers can choose between bringing their own tent or renting it at the campsite. The number of tents is limited; therefore, we recommend you book in advance. The camper can bring or rent his own sleeping bag through the camping’s booking system. They must bring their own flashlight, because the plots do not have light or power supplies.
Before renting a tent, the availability has to be checked via the booking form available at www.campingislascies.com. The tent renting is allowed for a minimum of two nights.
Restaurant, Cafeteria and Supermarket
The Cíes Camping has a restaurant with a large dining room and terraces with views over the lake and Rodas beach. It offers an à la carte service, as well as self-service options, and breakfasts.
There is also a small supermarket at the campsite, where you can buy basic food and drinks (bread, pastries, milk, fresh fruit, yogurts, cold meat, tinned food, soft drinks and water). The opening hours are from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Mobile Charging Point and Wi-Fi
Staying at the Cíes Campsite will allow the campers to enjoy the nature at its purest state while having all the comforts. Its facilities include Wi-Fi spots and a point for charging mobile phones through solar power.
The campsite has a Wi-Fi network with limited access, at a cost of € 2. This service can be booked at the campsite reception desk during its opening hours, from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm.
The battery charging point is located just opposite the reception. You can use the plugs from the bar for free.
The campsite has sanitary facilities which include hot showers, plugs, changers adapted for babies and people with reduced mobility. Likewise, there is a surveillance service, should a special or emergency situation arise.
The showers are free; the staff will give you a key to use them.
Other services available for visitors staying at the campsite are the washing machine and the laundry room, sinks for dishwashing, as well as waste facilities for the rubbish. Furthermore, the campsite has two guards to assist the campers in case of contingency and to ensure that the silent hours (12:00 am to 8:00 am) are respected.
It is very important that the people who are interested in camping on the island book the boat and the campsite together and in advance, since there are limited places and plots. In order to stay on Cíes Islands overnight, you must book the campsite online at www.campingislascies.com and book the boat at www.mardeons.com.
You will receive an email with the authorization of the National Park which you can book the boat tickets with.
The camping card is your booking.
