Campsite Area

The Cíes Islands Campsite offers the visitors a wide range of services which will make their stay an unforgettable experience. Campers can choose between bringing their own tent or renting it at the campsite. They must bring their own sleeping bag or blanket, as well as a flashlight, because the plots do not have light or power supplies.

Before renting a tent, the availability has to be checked via the booking form available at In July and August, tents and beds must be rented for a minimum of two nights. In June and Septembers, they can be rented for just one night.

Restaurant, Cafeteria and Supermarket

The Cíes Camping has a restaurant with a large dining room and terraces with views over the lake and Rodas beach. It offers an à la carte service, as well as self-service options, and breakfasts.

There is also a small supermarket at the campsite, where you can buy basic food and drinks (bread, pastries, milk, fresh fruit, yogurts, cold meat, tinned food, soft drinks and water). The opening hours are from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Battery Charging Point and Wi-Fi

Staying at the Cíes Campsite will allow the campers to enjoy the nature at its purest state while having all the comforts. Its facilities include Wi-Fi spots and a point for charging mobile phones through solar power.

The campsite has a Wi-Fi network with limited access, at a cost of € 2. This service can be booked at the campsite reception desk during its opening hours, from 9:30 am to 9:30 am.

The battery charging point is located just opposite the reception.

Other Services

The campsite has sanitary facilities which include hot showers, plugs, changers adapted for babies and people with reduced mobility. Likewise, there is a surveillance service, should a special or emergency situation arise.

Other services available for visitors staying at the campsite are the washing machine and the laundry room, sinks for dishwashing, as well as waste facilities for the rubbish. Furthermore, the campsite has two guards to assist the campers in case of contingency and to ensure that the silent hours (12:00 am to 8:00 am) are respected.

It is very important that the people who are interested in camping on the island book the boat and the campsite together and in advance, since there are limited places and plots. In order to stay on Cíes Islands overnight, you must book the campsite online at and book the boat at

Once they have booked the campsite and the boat, the campers travelling from Vigo should exchange the campsite ticket that they purchased online for their campsite card at the office located in the Marine Station of Vigo. If they are travelling from Cangas or Baiona, campers will get their campsite card at the campsite reception desk.
